Visas for the United Kingdom

 

This page looks very different from our other pages because obtaining a Visa for the UK is a very different process than other Visas. Please read all the information on the websites to which you will be directed very carefully.

Process:

  • First you will need to make the application for a UK visa and pay for it online. Click HERE to begin the process.
  • Next you must make a payment for "Priority Service" through the WorldBridge website in order for AVS to help you. Click HERE to make this payment. Print the receipt page at the completion of this payment and the email you receive and include both with your documents. Without this payment AVS cannot handle your application.
  • As part of the online UK visa application, you will have scheduled a Biometrics appointment at a local Homeland Security office; you must attend this appointment and have receive evidence of the Biometrics.
  • Finally all documents must be gathered to accompany your application and payments. Please read all the information and follow the guidance provided in terms of exactly what documents must be provided and how they are to be presented. Click HERE to find information.

After completing the above steps, ship your documents to us. Please note that applications that are rejected for any reasons, will have to be re-submitted and all fees - including AVS fees - will have to be paid again.
Any questions must be directed to WorldBridge which is the company the UK has hired to handle all communications. Call them at: 1-855-408-0343 - this a pay-per-minute service. AVS can only answer very basic questions.
All UK Visas are being processed in New York; the Chicago Consulate is closed. Once we receive your documents we will forward them to the NY Consulate.

AVS cannot submit Settlement Visas. 

Processing Times and Fees: 

Regular Processing: 5 or more Business days- Service Fee: $150 
Rush Processing: 3 to 4 Business days - Service Fee: $200
All United Kingdom applications will incur an additional $70 in Shipping
